Kerry Ellis originated the role of Meat in We Will Rock You and became the first British performer to play Elphaba in Wicked in the West End, later taking the role to Broadway. Her theatre work also includes Nancy in Oliver! and Grizabella in Cats.

Alongside those stage roles, she has built a recording and concert career, including collaborations with Brian May on Anthems and Golden Days. In Off Book, she brings the experience of moving between musical theatre, recordings and live performance.
